Intensive Portuguese Language Residency - Intermediate Level 31 Aug to 4 Sep. 2016 - Quinta do Doutor in Fornos de Algodres
An exciting opportunity to immerse yourself in a
Portuguese speaking residency for a full four days! Alongside formal
lessons, activities will include working together on the quinta, cooking
together, swimming in the river, formal lessons, and some local
sightseeing - all designed to give you the most useful everyday
vocabulary whether you are moving to or already living in Portugal!
During the Intensive Portuguese Language Residency we use a teaching methodology that allows students to hear and speak throughout the entire day. This is a very effective way to improve the learning-teaching process.
The student starts speaking Portuguese from the first minute, using the Portuguese language as the only means of communication and applying it during the whole residency.
The student shouldn’t be worried about not understanding the full conversation initially because the learning process is designed to flow the way you learned your mother tongue, naturally and gradually.
ACCOMMODATION:
Available accommodation includes a double bedroom in the house; caravan with double bed; camping (bring your own tent); or space to park your own campervan. Accommodation is offered free of charge and will be allocated on first-come, first-served basis. Shared use of two shower rooms / toilets.
FOOD:
Food will be vegetarian and we'll be cooking together as another opportunity for conversation. One lunch at a local restaurant.
COST:
200 euros per person
This is the first Intensive Portuguese Language Residential that we are running, and in return for your participation and feedback we are making it available at cost price.
PARTICIPANTS:
Maximum 6 participants so reserve your place early (2 places have already been reserved before we announced the dates)!
